Has anyone compiled and published a record of the comings and goings of British regiments to and from the Peninsular theatre, arranged chronologically? Somewhere that you could see, for example, which regiments arrived in the Peninsula in the late summer and autumn of 1813, or the spring of 1810? I know that Fortescue and Oman include a good deal of this in their account, but I doubt that they are complete and it takes some hunting.

Andrew Bamford placed the monthly theatre returns on the Napoleon Series. By comparing the different months you can track which units arrived and which departed. They can be seen at:

He has also placed the monthly regimental returns on the Series:

Rory,
When I researched British Establishments 1802-1815, I transcribed the monthly location of all units from WO 379/6 in the National Archives. I turned it into a spreadsheet which was the key to my understanding that British infantry establishments were task based, so that which of the six basic battalion establishments (400, 600, 800, 1,000 or 1,200 R&F) were used depended upon where each battalion was serving.
I will send you a copy of that analysis of WO 379/6.
My articles on Establishments were published in the Journal of the Society for Army Historical Research (Volume 87 Number 350 in Summer 2009 for infantry and Volume 87 Number 352 in Winter 2009 for cavalry, artillery, engineers etc), however these articles contain my conclusions and not all of the detailed analysis. A version of the articles including many images from my Powerpoint Presentation can be seen here: https://rodwargaming.wordpress.com/miltary-historical-research/organisation/authorised-establishments-of-the-british-army-1802-18
Rod
I've got a spreadsheet Zack sent me which shows each unit and when they came and went from Peninsular.
Oman is really the best source in the back of his Wellingtons Army 1809-14.
