Hello,
I hope you don't mind me asking this question on your forum but ... I have some figurines and I'd like to find out who the figurines are .... I'm struggling a little and wondered whether you could help me.
I've taken the liberty of attaching photos of the figurines - any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I think one is Jean Andoche Junot (light blue), Murat (mauve), Net (red hat and coat), poss Louis Lepic?
These are usually described as "Capodimonte." if you do a Google Image search using >Napoleonic Capodimonte< you'll see numerous examples. But if they are not marked Capodimonte, I'd question whether they actually are. I have a group of almost identical liquor decanter figurines. In my group your third picture down is "Eugene" and the second to last is "Lannes."
Thank you so much for your help Zack ... I'll check info re. Imperial Guard and the Facebook group.
These are beautiful, thanks for sharing. The chap with the eagle looks like he might be Imperial Guard, but I am not an expert. Hopefully some of our members can help. I'm not sure if you are aware, but there's a Facebook group dedicated to figurines which also may be able to help.
