Today I published the program of the symposia about the "field uniforms" of the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars on my site. I attached the program at the end of this post.
This symposia will be organized at the historical spot of the "Völkerschlachtdenkmal" (monument of the famous Leipzig battle), and yes, it is in German, but perhaps some of you may understand the speeches and want to visit this session.
If there are still some COVID-19 restrictions I'll announce the changes here.

Thanks Markus - really excellent (I wish I could have been there!)

Today I published the slides as PDF-files on Napoleon Online (plus some additional material provided e.g. by Hans-Karl).
Just follow http://www.napoleon-online.de/veranstaltungen_leipzig2021.html and scroll down to the list of speeches.
Although they are in German I think most of the content is told via images 😀

After a short communication with the head of the (highly recommended) "Völkerschlacht"-museum in Leipzig, I can ensure, that the session will take place at the 2nd of October. The actual program may be downloaded via the attached pdf file.
In case someone wants to visit the cost-free day in Leipzig, please send an email to me (address given in the pdf file).

Thanks Markus - that is great news - let's hope that it can go ahead as planned
Cheers

Paul,
we only want to collect the slides, as writing an additional text is often too time-consuming ... so at least the slides will be published on Napoleon Online and will be announced here.
Greetings
Markus Stein
This looks very interesting. Will it be possible to obtain copies of the papers for those unable to attend?
