In this thought-provoking talk Professor Tanya Grodzinski provides an overview of the Anglo-American War of 1812, its origins and general conduct between 1812 and 1815, its relationship with events in Iberia (the dispatch of units to and from), the Low Countries in 1814, the Waterloo campaign and the contribution made by the units coming home from British North America to the army of occupation in France.
