I found an nice article on newspapers in Italy by J. von Schwarzkopf in a german magazin from the year 1800.
I added the article to my website (which is in german, as is the original article).
Although in german it must be of some interrest to those interrested in the history of newspapers in Italy. I hope a translation tool is able to cope with the oldstyle german language.
