I am interested in the King's German Legion light cavalry that were attached to the Light Division from May - July 1810. Contemporary sources either called them the 1st KGL Hussars and other times as 1st KGL Light Dragoons. My question is. . . did they wear a hussar uniform with a busby or a light dragoon uniform with a Tarleton Helmet?
Thanks!

Thanks!
The former light dragoons were reorganized into hussars in 1806 and the most probable uniform of these hussars is done by Knötel after an important work done by captain Schütz von Brandis => cf the Knötel plate of a 3rd hussar in 1806 at http://uniformenportal.de/picture.php?/1997/category/102
