Hi Folks,
"With the guns of the Black Duke to Brabant!" (Brunswick Artillery 1809-1815) is the English version of the title of a two part article by Frank Brandes on the Brunswick artillery. In German, it is: „Mit den Geschützen des schwarzen Herzogs nach Brabant!“ (Braunschweiger Artillerie vom Jahre 1809 – 1815*). I have managed to track down and translate (badly!) Part 2, dealing with the period from the purchase of guns post-Leipzig, to the occupation of France after Waterloo. However, I cannot find Part 1, which I assume covers the years 1809-1813, anywhere on line, nor any reference to it or where it is located. Does anyone have any clues on where to find it, or better still, have a copy?
Many thanks in advance.....
