The paritcipants speak about their conribution of a book published by Helion - ARMIES AND ENEMIES OF NAPOLEON, 1789-1815
Proceedings of the 2021 Helion and Company 'From Reason to Revolution' Conference From Reason to Revolution 1721-1815 #87
Again very worthwhile to listen to, especially the for myself non Peninsular related topics, like that of Mack or Kutusov. Mack prooves to be a enigma, how he achieved to built up such a reputation and kept it - despite a myriad of failures and bad luck, Kraus is discussing him in my view best in his book about the 1805 Ulm campaign book (seen from the Austrian side). I for sure will buy the book - as Dr. Zack White recommends directly from Helion, so far I was never disappointed from the conference series books.
So Mack fails the "Napoleon Test" (I know he's good, but is he lucky?).....
